Bonfires This Weekend
Metal fire pits, wood smoke, and 100+ vendors fill Higashi Betsuin Temple this Saturday and Sunday. Outdoor gear makers, coffee stands, specialty crafts, and a hands-on workshop building wooden cups. Saturday runs 15:00–21:00 with alcohol. Sunday shifts to daytime market mode. ¥1,000 entry gets you a wristband and access to sit around open flames in central Nagoya.

12 Schools at One Event
Compare local international schools side by side at Station Ai on Monday, February 23 (national holiday). Twelve TISA (Tokai International School Association) member schools will have booths with staff on site to answer questions. The event features parent panels, and sessions on language learning and curriculum paths. Normally it takes weeks of separate campus visits across the city to learn this much. Free admission 11:00–15:00.

Theater Kids Night Out
Broadway numbers, open mic, drag queens from Metro, and musical trivia at Second Home in Sakae on March 29. Three hours mixing scheduled performances with an open mic running from a set list of popular show tunes with backing tracks ready. ¥1,000 advance through March 22, ¥1,500 at the door. Doors at 17:30, show at 18:00.
