Eat in or Takeout for Thanksgiving and Christmas
If you’ve lived in Nagoya for more than ten minutes, you probably already know Shooters. It’s the city’s long-running, reliably boisterous, endlessly welcoming sports bar where birthdays, farewells, pub quizzes, and “I just need a burger the size of my face” nights all somehow coexist.
However in November Shooters gets downright sentimental.
Thanksgiving is their biggest annual tradition—part comfort food, part reunion, part “I can’t believe someone else cooked the turkey this year.” If you’re one of the many in Nagoya who doesn’t have an oven big enough to roast a bird the size of a toddler, this is your yearly lifeline.
What On The Menu
Thanksgiving Dinner 2025 runs Nov 26 (Wed) – Nov 30 (Sun)
¥4,500 (+¥700 if you want more turkey, and honestly, who doesn’t)

The plate includes:
- Roast turkey with cranberry sauce & gravy
- Country stuffing
- Mashed potatoes
- Green bean casserole
- Dinner roll with butter
Pumpkin pie is available for ¥600, because it isn’t Thanksgiving without it.
Thanksgiving itself falls on Thursday, Nov 27, but Shooters runs the full dinner spread from Wednesday through Sunday. If you’ve ever seen the place in late November, you know the drill: it gets busy. Very busy. Reservations (make them now!) will save you from the annual “sorry, fully booked” heartbreak.
