The Jamaica Festival Reggae & Cuisine Nagoya
Nagoya gets a full day of reggae, food, and open-air energy this weekend as Jamaica Festival Reggae & Cuisine 2026 lands in Sakae on Sunday, April 12.
Held across Hisaya Odori Park’s Edion Hisaya Plaza and Angel Plaza, the event brings together live reggae performances, DJs, dance showcases, and a strong food lineup centered around Jamaican staples—expect jerk chicken, Caribbean street food, and market-style booths throughout the day.

This year’s edition is paired with a Block Party Nagoya collaboration, adding a hip-hop crossover element to the lineup and broadening the music beyond reggae into a more mixed street-festival atmosphere.
The event runs from 11:00 to 20:00, and admission is free, making it one of the more accessible outdoor events in central Nagoya this April.
There’s no single fixed timetable published for individual performances, but programming runs continuously throughout the day across the plaza spaces—so you can drop in at any point and still catch live music, food, and activity.
