Naked Festival March 1
Hundreds of men in fundoshi surge through winter air at Owari Ōkunitama Shrine near Inazawa as the clamour to reach the Sacred Man who is said to absorb their misfortune through touch. This 1,200-year-old purification rite peaks around 3pm. Arrive early, dress for 5°C weather, bring cash for food stalls. About 15–25 minutes by train from central Nagoya.

Tech Talks & Wine
Nagoya.Tech returns to STAR ROBOX near Horita on Saturday, February 28. Engineers, founders, designers. Short talks under 10 minutes, under 12 slides. Free entry, optional bottomless wine for ¥3,000. Doors at 6pm, open mic at 7pm. This robotics warehouse doubles as a wine bar. Relaxed, not formal.

JDM Cars on Display
The Toyota Automobile Museum in Nagakute shows why '80s–'90s Japanese cars became cult objects overseas. The ABC kei cars (Beat, Cappuccino), including the AZ-1 with its gullwing doors, plus the AE86 Trueno from Initial D and rally-era heroes. "What's JDM?" runs through April 5.
