The dog days of summer are just around the corner, but first up, we have a weekend packed with things to do.
On Saturday, we have the Nagoya Pride festival, which includes floats, a stage, and booths right in the heart of Sakae. That evening, the International Party takes place on the rooftop bar of Sakura Sakae.
Sunday brings the 34th Walkathon at Meijo Park, with food trucks and music on the stage—a great chance to give back to the Nagoya community!
Finally, a passing of note. Prolific pop artist, writer, and creator of "T-Shirt Engrish," Hiroki Isobe, has died. We take a look at his remarkable career and what it's like to have nothing more to say.
Have a good one, people!
